Why do you assume they would let Bernie play with their toys? Hillary had all the insider power.
Why didn't the Democrats win more seats? I don't know, but at this point we have no idea. Who's to say the seats they did win weren't from algorithms or software adjustments?
I watched the press conference today. Most Democrats support the "coup" against Maduro, so why would he help them? Soros supports DAs that are generally further left than the rest of the party. I could nitpick what was said today but file the lawsuits and work out the details. I'm just totally unsold on claims of large-scale coordinated fraud.
Not having evidence doesn't mean a thing isn't happening. Take the Panama papers. There was no evidence until that leak was dumped. The burden of proof cannot be on the losing candidate within days of the election. Elections should be vetted and audited with more vigor and aggression then the SEC audits finances, yet as far as I can tell virtually nobody looks into this.
Wild accusations for sure, so where is the fbi?
What if it's true?
anything could be true but the reason Greenwald/Taibbi didn't believe RussiaGate was because of a lack of evidence. the people who pushed that BS anyway should be questioned/condemned for misleading people. maybe it did happen but nobody could provide the evidence. maybe the people in power refused to do the work to uncover it for some bad reason. but imo the people who still believe it (until there's evidence) should be seen as irrational partisans.
all that applies here.
If all that applied here then the full energy of every journalist would be breathlessly sharing every salacious detail and we would get a two year special council Investigation hounding the personal lawyer of every lead.
I agree with you, and that's my point.
but they like Joe and hate Trump. if Biden was making these accusations, I agree we'd probably see that reaction. while we can resent that they'd treat the claims differently based on who is making the accusations, our primary hope should be that they call the accusations BS (if they honestly look into them and think they are) no matter who makes them. it's the downward spiral I keep talking about. blatant bias leads to distrust. facts become false just because of who says them.
reporters & govts do look into it. there was/is a lot of concern over voting machines and wanting every vote to have a paper trail. I agree. but every ballot has many different candidates who would love to prove it was a vote for them when it isn't. and every ballot is broken down by small precinct with a registered voter's name marked off. I struggle with the argument that a ton of ballots were "dropped off" cause they'd be from multiple precincts and lead to overvoting. maybe.
